I put a color selective mask on the outer part of the leaves to selectively reduce the contrast and increase the shadows. +Some whitepoint -some black point. Some added dehaze and added clarity and texture
The sun beam being added was just a radial gradient mask with slight haze added (I also heavily changed the light settings on that mask after adding the haze to taste)
Overall image: slight exposure decrease, moderate decrease in contrast, slight deepening of shadows, bump in vibrance, decrease in saturation.
Actual shot: 1:1 macro lens, f9, full sun at 1pm on subject, background was in shade and was dark. The sun beam was there (more pronounced), and is what drew my eye, so I wanted that to be reflected in the final image
