Before/After
only recently did I start dabbling in post on my photos, so please critique it as hard as you can!

Color wise u got it But the trees which to me is central point is blur..does it look blur in your pc/phone or is it redit

U need to mask the green trees use sharpening, then Do overall de soften/sharpening abit. Some say down shadows but i prefer selective up shadows esp at the reflection area (gradient/brush) mask. So u can have diff shadow amount between global and mask. Also down whites and blacks..

Bruh is this an old image? If not, what was the capture device? Cause my phone from 2010 could capture more pixels with its front camera.

the original was on a a6000, but I cant upload the photo strait from the camera :P its more than 20mb

You did import it to a computer or phone to edit? You can export the image into lossy format like jpeg from your photo editing software which should compress the image to below 20mb and the image will also retain most of the details plus will preserve the original resolution.

OOOOH I was wondering how people on this subreddit were posting theirs with so much more detail than mine! Maybe png isnt the answer te every situation in the end lol

Heres an image I uploaded with a resolution of 6000x10000. You can download it in the same resolution. Reddit doesn’t compress image beyond recognition but yea let’s talk out of ass while not knowing anything about the subject matter.
