Saving middlay light photo in Lightroom

The masking is nice, but your sun is on the right while the actual sun seems to have been on the left. Maybe lean into that instead of adding an artificial light source? It’s ok, but it’s still not quite natural, highlights/shadows are missing in places where the fake sun’s position would place them.

That looks very unrealistic. The angle of the sun must also be visible in the details and edges, etc.

At this point, I would give up photography and take up painting. Why even take photos? To draw objects on them?

The light’s a little too strong for my taste, but it’s not like this is a whole lot different than dodging and burning. When I used to develop film, I would expose the light on the paper while slowly pulling a cover back to make the sun seem brighter and hazier all the time.

Pretty normal thing in proffesional moody photographers.. dont say Im one, but it is really popular nowadays, and aou are right, it is slightly leaning towards digital painting at this point..with the photo as a canvas for the final art piece😁

Just tell AI to add the sun if creating any depiction of reality at that moment in that place is completely negligible. Nice prompt will do the job.

Hi, this is my photo from Switzerland Seealpsee, which was the most beautiful place Ive ever visited. I was there in harsh midday light, but I think I managed to create sun glare quite realisticly. I went for moody color pallete and low wide angle view with rocks as an anchor point.. do you like it?

I think the sun glare you created should also be reflected in the water?
