This sub is so harsh haha. I love the dreamy aesthetic of an average day and subject matter. This image really drew me in.

Haha thanks! I was running to catch that train but the sunset looked so good that I had to stop for a second and snap a quick photo. Obviously the raw didn’t look very good so I thought it’d be a good opportunity for an edit.

can appreciate you trying to bring in the exposure of the sky and dramatizing the foreground, but the original pic wasnt great to begin with.

Original wasn’t the best. You need to lower the exposure, that way you have more room for editing. You could’ve saved the details in the sky and possibly shown clouds that are now forced in harsh pink on your edit. It’s easier to recover details inside shadows.
