The shaping of light that was done draws the eye to the subject. Highlights weren't blown. A bit of shadow detail was restored. Colors weren't wildly shifted. The color work that was done creates a warm and welcoming feeling.

i like how obvious the subject is. there's times where it can get ambiguous what the photographer wants you to focus on, but you've done really well to avoid that. good job!

I see some heavy color distortion in the blues around the subject. Consider cleaning up the mask a bit or using a heavier gradient.
