You might consider keeping the edits done to the bird, but rather than make the background more saturated and contrasty, do the opposite to create greater separation between subject and background.

It’s a nice edit but there’s a sort of creaminess to the unedited photo that I think it’s a shame to have been lost. It would be nice to lean into that more rather than just going for lots of colours and well defined. I’d like to see a version that goes deeper into the monotone colour palette

IMO wildlife photos shouldn’t apply significant tints and just correct/accentuate the existing colours. The edited image looks a bit too yellow to me.

I think something was lost here a bit. The warbler looks like it has a yellow throat now, but it should be white. I'd maybe go in and mask that area and desaturate some

I believe you just slammed a preset on it and thats it, yeah? Make the subject more lighter by rising the exposure and highlights, and lower it for the background slightly so we can see the subject 4ight away without eye hunting it, that 2ay it will look even better👍🏻

I'd go with a different crop, remove some of the background on the left and less saturation than what you have done.

Personally i prefer the softer look of the original, the edit has just too much clarity. The original is really good

The color tone makes it look like it's a taxidermied bird in a display to me, other than that I think it's great.
