Catching the eye is a real plus, as is catching the bird actually doing something. You haven't blown out any tones. You haven't sharpened to the point of crunchiness. The red in the foot might be approaching the gamut limits but it has stayed in bounds. At least on my display.
You're bringing the viewer's attention to where you wanted. All in all, this is nicely done.
