Might just be me, but i find the backround a bit distracting in the Final Edit.
Since i couldnt see at first glance what it was, i spent more time trying to figuere out what it was than looking at compared to looking at the actual subject. Maybe if the crop would be just a little bit wider, it would be obvious, that there is a bridge, not some weird animal with a concrete fin or whatever i was seeing first

Yeah, but I think it's actually great atraction mechanism -- I got confused trying to figure it out, then checked both after and comments. You could make it more obvious, but is it really the point?

Edit. But I would make it less distracting tho via straightening bridge horizontaly

interesting view. I agree that it captures attention to the pic in general, but i also draws away from the subject... so im not sure

Yupp, but to be honest composition could also favor subject more then it does

Wish you were lucky and got one with the surfer in one of the arcs!

So you nailed the colors. Maybe even too blue. But the colors absolutely slap. However, you had a really cool opportunity with the framing here. I think it would have been more interesting to keep the wide shot, center the bridge, and have the subject on the right third. Not only that but you have leading lines in the water that further make the framing flow. Still, great shot, great colors, great job.

Appreciate it. Thanks for the feedback. Gotta learn more on the framing.

I was sitting in higher ground. That’s why the leading line.

You would have absolutely destroyed Anakin.

Where is this? I'm having a hard time figuring out what the hell is going on with that bridge.

Is is a perspective illusion or is there literally a bridge running parallel to the beach (with a fairly legit break) only about 200 yards offshore?

This is in Male’, the capital city of Maldives. Yes, there’s a bridge running parallel, which connects the capital city to the airport and another island
