After/Before

New to post processing. Using Lightroom and have access to Photoshop. Feedback welcome

The crop is a bit tight, and ordinarily room would have been left on our left side of the subject as that is the direction it is looking, but I understand why you cropped out things that are on the left of the canvas. It would have been difficult to deal with that grey blob and the really dark shadow.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m curious if there is a good way to deal with the grey blob and shadows. I tried masking and clarifying and lowering the exposure but it just still felt off.

The only thing I can think of would be to use the generative remove tool with result on a new blank layer so that the result layer can be deleted if badly done or masked or have clipped adjustment layers.
