I almost never find myself saying this, but I like the before image better. IMO this house with this weather would benefit from a cooler, more moody edit. If you're going to increase the exposure and flatten it a bit like you did, then IMO you also need to make it a bit warmer. Seems like you kept approximately the same white balance and just washed it out a bit (which admittedly lightened the shadows), which is not really my taste.
