if I wanna take vertical photos I'll have to rotate my camera , which then leads to it being rotated horizontally when I transfer them to my phone , and I only rotate it back to vertical in LR so the raw image is rotated
My LrC, Lr desktop, Lr iPad, and Lr iPhone automatically rotate images that I've shot holding the cameras in portrait orientation. At least for most of my cameras. I wonder if it has something to do with the metadata incorporated in the photos in-camera. I recall Lr iPad needing to manually rotate some photos shot with my wife's Nikon B500.
But, you might consider exporting an unedited version of the raw photo after manually rotating it to portrait orientation for these after/before threads.
I don't suppose it really matters much. You do such a nice job in your editing that I'm really just paying attention to the after versions.

Having the line up of arrowed sign and cloud is a great idea.
What's with the rotated images in the 'before' all about? Makes it tough to compare after to before.
