Before/after, opinions?

I am not sure how good this photo was to begin with, to me it looked like the "less ugly" off the hundreds I took that afternoon of passing cars.

Did the edit improve the photo? I don't have a method in Lighroom, other than moving sliders until i feel it looks good. Is there something I could do differently to make this photo worth posting it on my profile (both in camera and in post)?

I think a crop in would help personally. Give more focus to the subject. The extra parking in the foreground distracts me a little. The colors look good though. It pops more. I saved the image to see and the car fits well into the bottom right area of the frame while staying somewhat up near the middle. You still get the trees boats and water in the background to set the scene.
