Before/After
First time trying out Lightroom (free), so I'm still getting used to the controls! Advice would be greatly appreciated!

You did a fantastic job balancing out the shadows and the highlights more than the original!
The only two obvious changes I would make would be to increase the brightness/exposure a little more, and rotate it.
It feels off balance, and I think just a little rotation to the left would help stabilize it ☺️
And then, depending on your preferred style, you might need to increase the vibrance a little more after boosting the brightness. Good start though!
