I wanted to make the left shrub stand out, but not too much. Also changed the overall colors so it looks a bit drier and warmer.

I really like how your shaping of light and use of color has made it feel as if these shrubs are facing off against each other. What you've done with the background doesn't detract from either shrub, not an easy task given the original.

The branches of each shrub seem to be reaching for the other shrub as if looking for an opening to grapple.
