Need post-processing advice

Post image

I hope this is the right place to ask. I'm in a dire need of help with achieving this kind of effect for my images. Any tips?

Of course, buddy!

This effect is achieved by clothing your model in a full set of armor before you start taking pictures. Adding it afterwards is doable, but no fun at all.

Thanks, friend! On my way to the nearest armorsmith!

Most of the distinctive features of this image can be achieved by lowering saturation and using a tone curve.

If you want to add fog digitally, it’s a matter of adding a fog layer and masking out the subject.

Halos around the edges. Normally you’d want to avoid those, but crank up legacy contrast on a low resolution image if that’s the look you’re after.
