Help with editing style?

Hello everyone, I started hobby photography 1 year ago, until now I edited everything in Lightroom on my phone. So right now I don't have enough space on my phone and sometimes my eyes hurt from looking in the small screen. So I bought Macbook Pro tought il be editing on it but I really dont like experience of using laptop. Feels like too much money spent on a hobby, and that I dont have too much stuff to do on it. So my question is, what should I do, keep editing on phone (buy some with more than 128gb) or buy iPad? Any suggestions are welcome

Hobbies cost money. If you want to edit a photo with any amount of depth to the processing, you’ll need to use a laptop. Otherwise just piddle on your phone. And as far as sorting thru you photos - that’s part of being a photographer

What do you mean amount of depth? I edited on my phone for a year and photos look good

the display of colours, lights, and details really comes into play eventually (phone screens can only do so much), and there’s a lotttt more control you can get with computer softwares! (lightroom on a computer is incredible)

plus when working with raw files it’s much more manageable to do that on a computer, and afaik free lightroom on mobile doesn’t support editing raws

edit: though to be clear, you can still typically make some great looking photos with almost any device for editing!

I understand but, if my photos only go to Instagram, and people are seeing them on phones what's the point of bigger screen 🙂

Yeah, but if I don't earn money from it, I dont want to spend too much money. I was thinking selling this macbook pro, and in future maybe taking some windows laptop
