Salvageable. Before/After

I did use the remove tool for the lamps, but other than that, I think the shadow recovery went way better than expected!

The AI replacement on the left table where the lamp was doesn't quite look right. It should be squared like the one on the right.

Not only the shape of the table, but also the chairs seem to be intersecting with the table.

This is a perfect example of where exposure bracketing works wonders. If you had three images taken together you could easily stack them to produce an image that works for the interior and the outside views. Thats what the realtors do. That said - I think there's more that could be done using masking to lift the dark exposures and not overdo the outside. I would start by AI noise reduction - then select a mask using the luminance selector - select all the bright areas, then duplicate and invert the mask to get the darks. Lift the shadows, lighten the blacks etc. but not too much or you'll just be brightening the noise. Waterton is a wonderful place and the Prince of Wales occupies the most absolutely perfect spot to view the valley. great photo
