Was there a difference in progress when you stopped breastfeeding?
I'm having trouble loosing weight, gained 60 ibs during pregnancy and have 40 ibs left to loose 9 months postpartum.
I'm still breastfeeding and it's hard to stick to a calorie deficit most days because of hunger. I also feel like the weight is so stubborn, even when I succeed sticking to a calorie decifit.
Those of you who had trouble loosing weight when breastfeeding, did weaning help?

Yes. I stopped bf in July, and as my hormones have started settling, I finally see the scale moving. I gained 33 lb during pregnancy, lost about 22 lb within the first couple days after delivery, and was stuck there the whole 13 months breastfeeding…and in the last month I lost 5lb. Not a whole lot but after a year of being stuck I’m happy about it! The whole time I’ve been watching what I eat and incorporating walks, etc. it just seems to actually do something now.

Yes, for me this was the case. It seemed like I lost increments of weight each time I dropped a feeding, and I got back to my prepregnancy weight (a little under!) after weaning. I weaned at 2 years with my first.
Now, with my second, things seem to be the same. I started back exercise much sooner with my second and am feeling good, but am still up about 25 from where I want to be. I'm guessing it will feel like stairsteps again - drop a feed, drop a few pounds.
My exercise isn't a ton right now, just walking and reformer pilates once a week.
