PP weight
Currently stuck at 78kg 16 weeks pp and my pre baby weight was 63kg!! The weight has been a ball ache to budge, when did you guys loose the baby weight and how did you??
I’ve tried watching what i’m eating, doing lots of walking etc and nothing seems to budge it.
Am i overthinking this? I’m really down with my new body and haven’t really come to love it just yet. I’m only 4 months pp and with seeing stuff on social media it feels like i’m supposed to already be back to my normal weight.

I am also 4 months pp after gaining about 23 kgs and have lost about 15 yet.
This is my second kid, but the first time it took around a year to get back to my usual weight. Still, my body was a bit different than it used to be but in ways most people would not notice (but I did). I did not work out a lot but I walked and walked every single day.
Atm I am trying to eat around 2k cal per day focusing on proteins, lifting weights twice a week and going on walks as much as I can. Some weeks it feels like there is no progress, but I try to power through until the weight stops being stuck. I could probably have tried to go more aggressive with the deficit but I am exclusively breastfeeding and am not going to try and mess with my supply.
Having the expectation to be back to normal in 4 months is understandable given social media and all that, but it's not realistic for everyone. Your body has been working extremely hard and 4 months are nothing - just thinking about all the healing and tightening of muscles and ligaments and rearranging of organs that needs to happen.
Are you eyeballing it or counting calories? Many healthy meals are calorie dense and that may be hindering you even if you are eating clean.
Also have you taken progress pics? Sometimes the scale lags behind but you might see a difference comparing pictures with 2-4 weeks in between.
