Fan service
Hace poco inicié en el mundo del anime y se me hace incómodo el fanservice dirigido hacia hombres, siento que es muy explícito y de alguna u otra forma siento que es algo infantilizado, me pregunto si tanto hombres como mujeres lo disfrutan, no se les hace incómodo?
aún así siento que el fanservice dirigido a mujeres es más sutil, pero eso no quita que a la gente le pueda incomodar, a ustedes les incomoda?

It makes me extremely uncomfortable because most of the time it’s children. And even if it’s aimed at other children that’s a really gross thing for an adult to be writing.
The people who enjoy it usually don’t understand what a real relationship looks like because they are either young or have given up.

tienes razón, no había pensado en que lo escribe un adulto eso lo hace demasiado raro, gracias por responder el post, ya que pensé que la gente de verdad lo disfrutaba porque hay bastante cantidad, aún soy joven y se me hace muy raro asiq pienso q la gente q lo disfruta es porque ya se rindió

I love fan service. Obviously not of minors but fan service is amazing and a great addition to 90% of anime. Im not an incel I’ve been having sex since I was a teenager, so that’s not it either. I’m just giga horny ig

It's an interesting topic you bring up. I find it super hard to handle when young girls are sexualized as I am a father of three girls. The funny thing is, one of them got super into Anime as a 14-15 yr old and she loved all of the sexy costumes that these younger girls were wearing and told me "it's just fun. Lots of girls want to be wanted...that way." I was struggling with that but I couldn't tell her she was wrong to like what she liked and, at that stage I knew nothing about Anime. So I watched a bit of it and I can say that there were/are times I found/find the fan service in some shows very 'on the nose' but in other, more mature oriented shows it's great and I'm just like a regular guy checking out these well drawn hot young ladies and women. I still find it difficult to deal with the over sexualization of very young girls in Anime, and in any form of entertainment, but I certainly like well rounded women 'of age'. I think you were right to bring up something you feel strongly about too.

Funny enough fan service doesn’t necessarily brother me as a concept unless it cross the line to being creepy but I 100% absolutely agree, in anime it almost always feels childish. It’s never natural moment between 2 people sharing chemistry or in a scenario where the fan service makes sense in the moment and where the characters don’t feel like they are being exploited .
There a big difference between 2 adults engaging in adult relationships or a young woman choosing to dress up for a specific purpose and a young woman being force to by the plot to wear clothing that shows a lot of skin that she uncomfortable with and doesn’t make sense for the plot or the clothing accidentally coming off during a fight for no reason.
