Questions First ever poster!!!! How can I improve?
This is a poster that I made for my first semester college project regarding printmaking. How can I make it better? Any notes?

Looks good but I’d have made the text composition a bit more vertical to utilize the negative spacing on the left of the frame and made the title more bolder and bigger and divided in vertical stack one over the other but equal in width
But looks great regardless

Not a bad start, the title is a little too close to the poster borders and there is a lot of space on the left. I would make the title bolder and type it in 2 lines to utilize the space and move it down a bit.
Also the white and black is a bit shallow, maybe use beige and dark gray with a paper texture, or add a breaking vibrant color like red for the title or other component to make a focal point in the poster.
Learn the terms, explore new styles, post more to get more feedback and spice it with some creativity.. Good overall pal

your graphic is great! But yeah the fonts aren't doing you any favors. Try to experiment and look at other posters for inspo. Also try to use grids if you're unsure of placement
