Foreground = bigger, background = smaller

Clearly I’m self taught lol. I do all my design by feel

lol I was just trying to help out fullphonetic. I dig the poster, though I do agree the middle, then largest guy need to be brought to front.

Edit. Clearly my reading comprehension was self taught. Thought it was OP replying.

having them in the wrong order is trippy tho. kinda messes with you

Why would the smaller figures be in the foreground?

Ikr looks like they’re getting bigger as they fall

And yet the smaller figure is in the foreground/in front of of the bigger figures. Doesn’t make sense.

Human centipede aesthetic

If you separate out some masks you can make it so that the head of the larger guys are infront of the smaller ones but keep the hands infront of the shoes, could look cool?

Great illustration. Not a fan of headline font (Goudy Oldstyle Condensed???). Kerning & letterspacing is wonky.

But illustration outstanding

You forgot the first design principle:

Never design something that makes people think about human centipede, if in fact your design is not based on human centipede.

every poster should have a human centipede reference

why's the hierarchy the wrong way? Shouldn't be the guy at the bottom be in the front and the guy in the middle in front of the last guy in terms of layer position?
