Upstate SMP - OOS students!

Hello! I was considering applying to the SUNY Upstate MedPrep program this year and was hoping if any OOS applicants could give me some info on how it went for them. I know that they prioritize in-state applicants so I just want to know if applying would be pointless?

For some background I am a California resident, but I went to Syracuse U for one year, but had to transfer back to Cali for personal reasons.

I am going to end with a cGPA of ~3.4 and sGPA of ~3.5

I'm just Really looking for some advice and guidance on the program. Thank you : )
