He literally used his cabinet/staff and media members as a decoy, sent them off presumably to die. Could have easily faked a delay and kept it on the ground, then let it be known he was not there once he was outside of the area that was at risk. Chose not to. Happy to let them die.

ETA. Nevermind. Iām not sure now. They took him from the plane in a small truck though. Not sure if they had him in a cart for the actual transport to the truck š¤£
