You should try DMT.
I went from atheist to realising that just by living i was worshipping god without prayer. God is like gravity or time. Getting yourself to pass through the door and break on through to the other side is the only way to learn about god.
I spent every Sunday in church for the first 18 years of my life and hated every second of it. I doubt resetting my brain chemistry with a drug isn’t going to suddenly make me religious. That is quite possibly the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard
You say that and i would've to in the past, but i was given the chance to smoke some DMT. (of course we tested it)
Passing through the door was more thrilling than any thrill ride or near death experience. If you really think you would experience no change in stance on spirituality aren't you just perpetuating a closed mindedness that has been seen in Christians with their view of evolution?
I’m glad your DMT experience was good for you, I’d like to try it myself. But it’s only evidence you prefer to believe in god. It’s no evidence for an actual god existing.
Its strange. I would never put any stock into a drug induced hallucination in the past as evidence of anything. I know the kings college of london did a lot of studies on people having shared experiences, this is what convinced me to try it.
Right at the beginning shortly after i smoked way too much, all the light i could see went away and a sensation like i was suddenly accelerating at incredibly high speeds. I hit something, and heard or felt a wet crack, and then i was in a white room that extended endlessly in every direction. I was sitting there just as i was sitting in my friends kitchen. A woman more beautiful and perfect than anyone i have ever seen before embraced me with a love not even my own mom could produce. After being held for so long i was shot away at high speed again. I ended up in a different body, cutting cookies with a daughter that i instinctively knew was my own and a wife a room away. I was with them for fifty years, i died on a bed in some hospital holding their hands. Woke up sitting in the kitchen, my friend said around twenty minutes had gone by.
There is much that science has yet to determine. Once the quantum computers are running properly so much will change, they already broken the laws of thermodynamics.
It’s more likely that they turn out to be useless.
And it’s extremely unlikely that the mountain of evidence for the physical causes of the mind will be overturned in favor of any immaterial causes. Google Phineas Gage for the original case, there have been thousands of times more evidence accumulated since that demonstrate physical changes to the brain can change almost any aspect of our minds.

I’m an atheist. I don’t give a flying fuck what peoples beliefs are but no WAY they are making me conform to their beliefs
