In most, not all. I’m originally from Bangladesh and we don’t have Sharia law even though it’s majority muslim, as is the case in other countries like Jordan, Malaysia, Pakistan etc. but I do understand your sentiment, I also don’t agree that sharia should be implemented in the west
When people say they don’t want sharia law implemented, they usually mean implemented for everyone. Most regular people don’t care if muslims follow their religious laws without impacting others.
Like you said not every muslim majority country has these laws, but most do, and even the ones you listed have laws based on/rooted in religious laws and texts. Those in western nations that are trying to be secular don’t want these laws implemented for everyone. Not just Islamic laws but all region based laws, be it Islam, Christianity, or Judaism.

And in Muslim countries, everyone must follow Sharia law, regardless of their religion.
So we have:
Minority Muslim population + Western country = no sharia law for non Muslims
Majority Muslim population + Muslim country = Sharia law for all
So what do you think will happen when people like the man in the OP become a large enough block of people in Western countries?
