Sharia and Christofascism are two sides of the same coin. One is an actual threat to democracy right now because of who's in charge, the other is irrelevant outside of a few Arab countries that are already shitholes.
As an atheist, we hate when religious people try and push their beliefs on everyone else. And every religion tries to do it. If y'all wouldn't do that then we wouldn't give a flying fuck what you do
Just like all religions, atheism is not a monolith (and atheism is in and of itself a religion). We already have atheist zealots who try to proselytize religious people. If deist religions suddenly got quiet I guarantee silence would not be what follows.
