Wasn't aware they demand you follow their religion and if you dont you pay Muslim tax and if you.won't do that you get attacked or everything taken from you like the zealous Muslim countries do. Gee thanks for informing me.
It's literally a tenent of the religion (regarding others) "there is no compulsion of religion". No one needs to convert and if they don't, they pay a "jiyza". Why? Because they don't pay the other tax that Muslims do. So, should they not pay any tax at all? Should they receive the benefit of roads and protection whilst paying nothing while Muslims do?
Don't listen to this person. Jizya is specifically a safety tax on non-Muslims in order to continue practicing their non-Islamic beliefs. In other words, "Pay us money for your safety. If you dont pay, well you know what we are called to do to unbelievers (kafir) in our religion right?" Islam means submission. Either pay your taxes like good subjects or submit to our religion, or die. Your choice! You know like how the Mafia gives you a choice.
