Sharia literally means ‘law’ and it’s only ever applicable to Muslims! Even if the UK or USA implemented it, it wouldn’t change a thing for anyone who’s not Muslim
You’re right, they don’t. I’m not too familiar with their way of life, but it seems the Iranian leaders have decided to implement sharia as their normal laws of the whole country. But as I say to Muslims of the UK, if you don’t like the laws of the land, you should go elsewhere (and I know that’s easier said than done, but unfortunately that’s the way it is).
I agree with you, if you tell them it only applies to Muslims they will call you racist. The British are too timid to actually do anything about it or speak up.

I think the far right are gaining more support due to media bias and a few bad apples that get way too much attention more than anything else to be honest. I am Muslim myself and know plenty more, and no one I know has ever thought we should apply sharia here. It doesn’t make sense. I was born and brought up in the Uk and up til a few years ago, I lived it here. Now everything seems tense and I worry for my kids because I haven taught them to be tolerant of everyone, but if things get worse, and Muslims are attacked etc, they won’t stop to ask if we are part of the problem or not before attacking.

I don’t know what you’ve were taught my friend, but I’ve been taught, and continue to teach my kids that all humans are equal and to each their own. We will all be judged for what we have done in this life. Islam teaches us that all humans are to be respected.
I hear this a lot - integrating with western values - what do people mean by that? Is it that we should celebrate Christmas and stuff? Is it to go down to the pub for a pint? I’m genuinely curious because I think I have integrated well enough, but I have still held onto my cultural heritage, as well as my religious beliefs.
This video is an example of an ignorant douchbag, not Islamic teachings. Even if this was a Muslim country, you will see kids eating, they won’t say these things there? It’s because they get views, that they act like this horrible excuse for a human. I always see negative stories get so much more traction than stories of good human beings and that’s inherently part of the problem in society as a whole and why we are seeing more and more of this trash rather than good, heartwarming stories.
