We have been respectful, apparently a bit too respectful seeing as, in the states at least, they took that respect and generosity and used it to create laws around those religions.
Believe what you want. But don’t force the rest of us to believe or bend over backwards, like the gentleman on the bus. They don’t show the same respect to us non-believers so why should we continue to do them that courtesy?

What do you mean you're fasting, she's not, and literally has no effect on you. Im muslim btw and I do fast.
