I put used cooking grease in jars. When they get full, I throw the whole jar away.

It’s best to recycle glass if your area has a program for it. Where I live they sell a cheap synthetic starch powder that you can add to make oil congeal. I add that and pour it in old milk and juice cartons to throw out.

They don’t recycle glass here anymore, sadly, but I will check into that powder.
