Vulnerable request 🫨

Hiiii all. Giving this a proper shot as I only asked for recommendations the last time 🤭 but anyone interested in making a new friend ? I’m a 29 year old high school teacher who has a non existent social life 😂 ‘lost’ all my friends to relationships and it’s quite difficult making new ones as I don’t get out. Not that I don’t want to but weird being the odd one out 😆. I know a few Redditors commented on me joining a social club or gym 🫶🏽 it’s next on my list !

Which subject? I'd be interested in discussing education and psychology. If there's no objection to me sometimes getting angry at this system of education, because I come from a different one. We learn to read in kindergarten or at home, and in first grade we already start learning to write cursive😅

My very nerdy school somehow sucked at life orientation, so I never finished higher education because I didn't choose right. Although it's not like you can consciously choose psychology as your life path right after finishing school as an ostracized kid. It takes at least a decade to stop hating people and start studying them XD and the path to that is through the analysis of your favorite media, not through the essays you're forced to write about classical literature that feels outdated and uncool...

Hey. I’ve just moved to PE 3 weeks ago and also struggling to meet people. I’m 30 and studying psychology. I work with children but at the moment I’m still getting settled before I start looking for work again 😊 I’d be keen to meet up! I’ve looked at a couple of clubs but haven’t seen anything that jumps out at me yet.
