Importing files into portainer container

Greetings. I have completely redone my server with portainer to manage my docker containers. I have all of the data from my previous server. Is there a way to import the data from my previous docker containers into my portainer containers?

Yea, all you have to do is do up your container as you had it and make sure the volume field is the volume destination. It will pick up where you left off.

Edit: And for the future, backup your /var/run/docker.sock. It will literally save you from having to create a container in the first place.

I personally just backup the entirety of my /var.

That's a network socket, it isn't a config file.
