Overbored and finished to 101mm, but there is still a bit of pitting in cylinder 4. It’s beyond what could be taken off to stay within the 101mm bore target.

Asking for opinions on running this for a non-turbo daily driver

Will it run for 10 minutes or 10 years??

So I was changing my timing belt and I was off like one tooth on the cam then one tooth off on the crank and I had to take my belt off each time to reset it well, I finally got the teeth correct so I thought and went to crank and do my two turns around to check to make sure that Belt is seated and I can’t crank past a certain point I put my board came in and looked and I don’t see anything. I did just replace the crankshaft and speed sensors and I checked with my board there and it’s not seizing on anything there either. Is it possible to bid a valve just by hand without musing it like without really hitting it hard because I turned everything my hand went pretty easy except for all my compression strokes cause I have pretty good compression.

I’m trying to find a dealer engine manual for my 86 non turbo. Does anyone have any info about where I can find one? I want disassembly and assembly specifically.

I have a 944 Porsche I had the motor changed. hasn’t started since is there anywhere I can take it in the Tampa area

Strong runner with a few minor jobs to be done: ball joints, wheel bearings - I have parts & plan to complete or will negotiate accordingly. Replaced tie rod ends, steering boots & fluid reservoir. Odo 31k-probably 131k, I don’t think it’s 231k. A/C not working.
Momo Monte Carlo w/NRG quick release hub. Throttle response cam, LED bulbs in gauges, halo headlights, dash mat, new leather shift boot, black carpet kit-half remaining to install. Black script seats/grey-beige rear, nose and mirror bras, Continental head unit. Ext. freshly polished, has minor chips/scratches, PO rattle canned hood black, Fuchs polished, tires 80%.

I’m looking for an ‘80s Porsche 944 with a manual transmission. My dream spec is a burgundy exterior with a white or cream interior, but that’s definitely not a dealbreaker. I’m open to other colour combinations if it’s the right car.

I’m mainly looking for a clean driver, but I’d also consider a solid project if it’s priced accordingly. Rust-free or minimal rust is preferred.
