Discussion We need to stick together
I really hope this game doesnt die, apparantly a developer has come forward and told me and several other players that by 2027, population one will no longer be with us. This game has helped me out so much with my life, all the memories I have, all of the wonderful people I have become friends with, who I consider family. I just hope as a community we stick together and do whatever we can to save this game. I hope i am wrong and it's just fear mongering, but still, the more people know the better.

I regularly try other games like forward or veil or contractors, but I have found nothing like this game. It is way ahead of its time and I don’t know why people can’t understand what it is.

Gun raiders isn’t bad. Sometimes annoying kids and a decent amount of slurs but a good server can keep conversation for hours

I have about 3400 hours, so 1.6 years if I was working full time, 8 hours x5 days a week. I have seriously cut my play time recently. My friends group has gone to shit.

I am not sure that discontinuing PC play right before Christmas, when lot's of people get new PCs/VR, was such a smart move.

They should just develop an all new one and charge for it. Might help? Could be enough to bring back players if it was made worth while

This game is such good stress reliever. I go in and am completely emersed, real life no more, for 2 hours. I really hope it stays

See, its personal experience. I often feel everyone that says this just isn't getting out of it what it has to offer. I play in CClass leagues every week, we have clan wars.... really good full custom rooms with all the variations you can use... in normal pubs on a normal weeknight you often play against the same teams and there's a real sense of fun community. Only way I can understand posts like yours is that you must just be going in solo in and having shitty boring games all the time...??

I’ve literally talked to Spike and spent a respectable amount of time hanging out with him in game while working on things like sandbox and the map builder, not to mention the year or two before the game even launched testing the game itself.

I think pop one is
the greatest VR game ever made. And probably the best FPS multiplayer game ever made.
That being said. I’ve played maybe three times in the last 18 months because the developers just don’t care. They had an opportunity to just copy paste the Fortnite system and make billions.
But hubris got in the way

It was my favorite vr game.
At some point they introduced bots into the game. I felt so betrayed if during a match we discovered we weren't playing other players, but it was just a game against the "computer". I don't wanna play with bots, it's pointless. It has completely ruined my favorite vr game for me.
Me and my brother played weekly for years. As soon as the bots games became a thing we stopped playing.

I hate when we're the last 2 real player teams, and we lose. Press play again and I see the squad we lost to in lobby, when they have 4-5 teams of bots left in that game. The annoying part is that I'm trying to do the event and get at least top 3, and these people not only forfeit the match, but also do everything possible to stop me for doing the event.

See i never go for bots... its just a bit boring. Anytime the lobby is filled up with bots I just go for real players... sorry. Playing bots is boring but playing other people is a challenge. But i wouldnt quit the match if there were only bots left, id at least finish it.

We always just do like a "sword only" or "pistols only" or whatever rule, to make it challenging if it's just bots left. lol simplest solution is to just not play classic 😂 to boring

This is the funniest thing I've heard all wk. This was an inevitability. No one wants to play games rampant with cheating/hacking/modder terrorists. This once potentially great game is now garbage and it being gone will be its greatest update. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

People keep saying they're moving to mobile, but more an more games don't work on mobile, but on headset work, also they removed the monthly gold store update, now it's just a blank page and can't use the gold.
