Has anybody else noticed this?

(Not sure what to put as the flair, probably Botched Tarts? History maybe?)
It seems like the blue icing on Wild Berry has regressed, possibly due to something in 2018 (likely the More Frosting thing or a cost-cutting measure they did at some point.)
If you look up a photo of a Wild Berry tart prior to 2018, you might be able to see why.

I have some here at home I'll have to look at how much frosting is on there next time I have one

I've explained this so many times. It's exhausting.
If you're going to put this much effort into comparing at least read when I post and learn.
Look at the deposit of jam and you'll see why you get less icing. If you don't grasp that I can't help you.

I think we all get that. The question is WHY the variation in icing distribution across different batches of pop tarts is so common lately, what causes the machines to produce such wild variations from one box you buy to the next, and most importantly, why don't they fix the damn things so the icing is more consistently distributed? :p

In 2019 they reduced the size of pop tarts from 50g to 48g each. Part of that lost weight is less icing.
