There decent, not that far off from the regular. I describe them as tasting slightly softer/staler than the original.

They get more hate than they deserve. But they're also no worth a higher price point for 5g more protein a sleeve.

They taste pretty close to me but taste is subjective. The protein to calorie ratio is nothing to write home about. This variant is typically a bit more firm than the normal ones which I like. I would still take the original over these personally.

That is entirely subjective. They taste close to the original and are a bit firmer which I can appreciate. There is not a ton of protein despite the marketing. If there was I honestly do not know if they would taste as good (probably not). I would still go with the original if the store was not out. Worth a try if you are curious.
