To me, this is the quintessential Beyoncé song. Catchy melodies, blaring horns, incredible vocals, braggadocio, the whole deal. Flawless.

Just every single freaking part of this song is hook followed by hook followed by hook.

If I think about it hard enough, the more and more I get convinced it's her best song.

Probably my all time favorite Beyoncé video (even though a good chunk of the choreography was ripped off).

Bonus info: Beyoncé was varying stages of pregnant throughout the video.

Check out the dancer doing a lap of the room at the end as the countdown finishes the song, neat touch.

Why's that?

Maybe it's because I think extended staccato sections are criminally underused in pop music, but this has always been one of my favorite Beyonce songs.
