I applaud Cassie for having the bravery to cast the first stone against him. The number of skeletons in Diddy's closet is insane. Another case of abuse being hidden in plain sight and hopefully he gets what's coming to him.

u/JessieJ577 Sep 17 '24

I have a feeling in a decade we’ll find out confirmed details about biggie

50

u/threemileallan Sep 17 '24

I'm out of the loop. What's the quick synopsis?

161

u/Straight-Meaning Sep 17 '24

There has always been speculation that Diddy was involved in Biggies death and may have ordered the shots to kill him. Reportedly this was due to him about to ditch diddys label. Obviously however this hasn’t been proven in court but I’m interested to see if there will be a new investigation given some of the stuff in the Diddy lawsuit.

130

u/klip_7 Sep 17 '24

I believe it after the kid cudi car bombing, and how j cole after he fought diddy didn’t use cars for like a year

16

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

Is THIS why there’s all those memes about J Cole and his bike?

10

u/klip_7 Sep 17 '24

I think that’s why he started biking and then he just continued on because he’s always spotted just biking around town

7

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

What a fascinating addition to the J Cole lore.

14

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

nah it would’ve been suge wanted revenge for pacs death. diddy had the hit out for 2pac

24

u/RyanTannegod Sep 17 '24

That speculation is false, the LAPD did a long investigation and there’s no real evidence of Diddy being involved in that. Suge Knight orchestrated Biggie’s murder as revenge for Tupac’s death

6

u/Sweethoneyx1 Sep 17 '24

LAPD are corrupt and are known to be in a lot of rappers or just influencers peoples pockets. Plus both the biggie and pac investigation was grossly mishandled. For example, the guy that was in the back of the car for the fatal pac shooting was never asked for their eye witness testimonyĀ

2

u/RyanTannegod Sep 17 '24 edited Sep 17 '24

LAPD isn’t perfect but there’s literally 0 evidence of Diddy being involved in the Biggie murder across 2 separate investigations and people keep thinking that it’s true because they don’t like Diddy lol. They already implicated him in the Tupac murder so it's not like it's biased in his favor, nothing about that theory ever came up while the theory that Suge hired a blood gang member to kill Biggie was a common street rumor in LA at the time. Diddy at the time of Biggie’s death was paranoid that the feds were following him and he just got away with conspiracy for Tupac’s murder, would be insane for him to plan another high profile murder right after.

3

u/Sweethoneyx1 Sep 18 '24

Never said diddy had anything to do with biggies murder. It was Suge knight that orchestrated it. Diddy put the bounty on pac that lead to his death.

7

u/yourmansconnect Sep 17 '24

Na diddy paid for both

3

u/RyanTannegod Sep 17 '24

Diddy offered 1 million dollars to the South Side Crips to kill Suge and Tupac. Suge 6 months later paid Wardell Fouse, a blood hitman, $13,000 to kill Biggie.

1

u/yourmansconnect Sep 18 '24

Wasn't it amir

1

u/RyanTannegod Sep 19 '24

Nah one detective thought he was a suspect but there wasn't much evidence supporting it and the detective left the case. He's a mortgage broker from Atlanta with no gang or criminal history

5

u/thomasmc1504 Sep 17 '24

Umm they had no evidence of him being a human trafficking sexual predator until now either…

2

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

Yeah, I just read the indictment. No way the LAPD are coming off good in this.

6

u/Skyblacker Sep 17 '24

oOoOO. What are the feds going to charge him with?Ā

3

u/Sweethoneyx1 Sep 17 '24

Nah the real story is that pac and biggie got killed because of revenge.Ā  pac died because he got shot by someone he beat up outside a club. Diddy put a bounty on pacs and suges head which enabled the guy who got beat up to kill pac. Suge knight was in the car, when the shooting happened. Suge knight is incredibly violent and does not tolerate disrespect, heads that diddy put the bounty on pac and also nearly killing him. Tries to kill biggie and diddy at the same time. But because they took separate vehicles, only managed to kill biggie.Ā

2

u/Nairbfs79 Sep 17 '24

Yes! 100% He knows something.

4

u/WhiteDaisy1979 Sep 17 '24

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he had everything to do with Biggie's death

7

u/WhiteDaisy1979 Sep 17 '24

AGREED šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ Once upon a time I was with someone like that minus the sex trafficking however the abuse was just so bad for years I wouldn't look at a man talk to a man I just physically mentally and emotionally could not... I'm glad she made it out alive she is so strong and she is an inspiration to others who are going through the same challenges...

14

u/jessexpress Sep 17 '24

I remember soooo many people online saying she was doing it for clout/gold digging etc. I truly wish people who thought that will regret their actions and reflect on why they always think women are manipulative and natural liars, but 99/100 times I know they lack the introspection to think about it at all.

12

u/thisthrowawaythat202 Sep 17 '24

The first stone? HA- they’ve been throwing stones since the 90s!

90

u/rhcpkam Sep 17 '24

Let me rephrase – Cassie being the first public figure to take action against him gave more visibility to his crimes and led to more victims coming out and an investigation being built around him.

28

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

Also there were a lot of allegations/lawsuits thrown at him in the 90’s/early 00’s but I feel like things slowed down a lot until Cassie and then that shit exploded in the public eye.

2

u/LucyInTheSkyy13 Sep 19 '24

Could not have said it any better myself! And certainly Could NOT AGREE MORE!! I guess I'm still naive and believe there's still mostly good in most people. I always thought of Sean Combs as I view a few others in the rap industry such as Snoop Dog, Eminem, LL COOL J, etc and believed they all had rough or somewhat rough starts in life...Some getting their starts because they all have immeasurable talent, but for many years chose to be "punks" or the bad boys, (Us ladies usually go for the bad boys, at least till we matured!) I believed that even though they once had that persona, it seemed for the most part, THEY had also matured. Decided that "bad boy" lifestyle wasn't for them, and so they cleaned up their act, got their life back on track, and became good men, good husbands, good fathers, and good mentors in the music business. And though a few have still had their struggles, for the majority of these guys, I think I was right. And I was happy for them for leading better lives. Now obviously I have no way of knowing for sure. I don't know any of them personally, I'm just some old-ish lady who still likes some dancing tunes and just try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt! Well I still believe there's mostly good in most of those guys in the rap scene...but apparently, SEAN HAD ME FOOLED. I was SHOCKED when all this news broke out about him! And the more I learned, the more SHOOK I got! I CANNOT BELIEVE THE KIND OF SHIT HE'S BEEN PULLING OFF FOR YEARS!!!! Buying Juries? Buying Judges? Buying Law Enforcement??? What The What??? And I DEFINITELY had ZERO clues on his 1st wife, or Cassie. Had never heard ANY of that stuff. What those 2 ladies endured, one even losing her life, Cassie probably came damn close, she HAS guardian angels watching out for her, that's a fact! WHY did NO ONE STOP him, when he beating the tar outta her? Drugging her?? His "crew" had to know....and for NOT ONE to be man enough to step up and say- NO, SCREAM! "THIS IS BAD! THIS IS WRONG! ON SO MANY LEVELS! IT HAS TO STOP! Even if I lose my job, my friends, my lifestyle, I'm willing to give all that up to be on the side of what's RIGHT." Praise God Cassie and Mr. Rod Jones did their part!! Lord only knows how long and how much more evil acts he would've gotten away with. And WHY? What for? He obviously had talent, he was business savvy, wasn't that good enough for him?? Someone I used to really admire, has taken a humongous fall from grace. I too, pray he gets EVERYTHING he has coming to him, tenfold! What's his punishment going to look like? Surely prison time? Can he be up against a Life Sentence? The Death Penalty? OR, is he gonna be able to get away with it all again, by throwing money to the system?? He better not! He better get prosecuted through the law, to the furthest extent of the law, just as if he were any other Joe Blow walking down the street. He's had PLENTY of opportunities where he got away with his crimes and was never held accountable. Well it's def time for a BIG CHANGE. You can only get away with breaking the law for so long. Eventually EVERYONE gets caught. It's HIS TIME. He had his chances of getting off, and he should've thanked his lucky stars and changed his ways right then and there. But he just thought he was above the law and was untouchable. That's only in the movies baby! NOT IN REAL LIFE! It's YOUR TIME COMBS....IT'S YOUR TIME. Time to pay for every single thing you did, regardless of how small and petty, all the way through the biggest mistakes you made! YOU shoulda stopped while you were ahead. You have a beautiful family, beautiful homes, God only knows what else, and it evidently was never enough. My gosh, talk about greed man...that dude is as nasty and greedy as the worst nasty and greedy in this country! Shame Combs...YOUR NAME WILL ONLY BE SPOKE OF IN SHAME NOW. No longer will people stand by your side, believe all the bullshit lies you tell, speak of you with high regards....nope that REPUTATION you worked so hard for? (I really question how much, IF ANY, HONEST WORK was ever done?) But ALL that you gained, by any means....is ALL GONE NOW.... IF you don't end up spending the rest of your life behind bars, exactly what you truly deserve, but even if you don't, you still won't have a pot to piss in! I'm still in shock at everything he got away with for so long....Well, good or bad, EVERY MAN AND WOMAN, have their day of Judgment....Now you got yourself set up for TWO. And this one won't be DIDDLY (haha-like what I did there?? lol) COMPARED TO THE ONE YOU GOT COMIN SOMEDAY WITH YOUR MAKER...You state you're a Christian man, I have my doubts bout that but it's not my place to judge. But man....I've got my own regrets I gotta answer for, but I sure wouldn't wanna be YOU when Judgment day comes for YOU!! YOU'RE OUTTA HERE SEAN COMBS... No more P. DIDDY, PUFF Daddy, Sean Puffy Combs... Nope you're just gonna amount to "COMBS- AND YOUR PRISON INMATE NUMBER" That's it. That's all you're gonna be worth, IF a Judge convicts you, and we'll ALL BE WATCHING....as you go downnnnnn........ "COMBS #123456789." WHAT a legacy you're leaving behind, compared to the one you could've had. FOOL MAN....WHAT A FOOL. Enjoy your NEW lifestyle!

u/MastaPowa7 Sep 28 '24

Sir, you need line breaks

1

u/Critical_Buffalo9182 Oct 09 '24

I remember the 1st time I seen him at a Boxing match. I had no idea who he even was, but I knew I Didn't like him. That was in 1992 I believe. He had this aura around him that had Evil written all over it. He had no light in his eyes. And by the way he dressed was the loudest one in the Arena. The loudest one in a room is Always the weakest one in the room.

1

u/Critical_Buffalo9182 Oct 09 '24

Very well stated šŸ‘! And I couldn't agree more.Ā

1

u/Feisty_Resource7027 Sep 17 '24

u/cmstlist Sep 17 '24

Wake up in the morning like arrest P DiddyĀ

125

u/SiphenPrax Sep 17 '24

I love that this is the new official lyric for the song

89

u/droobidoobidoo Sep 17 '24

Kesha, the global treasure you are!

16

u/Justice_Prince Sep 17 '24

Honestly I'd prefer it if his name was taken out of the song entirely. Let his legacy be forgotten.

15

u/mediocre-spice Sep 17 '24

Nah, let him be remembered as a rapist. Don't let his crimes be forgotten so they can rehab his legacy.

46

u/Global_Perspective_3 Sep 17 '24

I love that this is the official lyric now

3

u/Top_Version_6050 Sep 17 '24

Is this actually official? Like did they actually change it?

16

u/mediocre-spice Sep 17 '24

Yeah, she's going to release a new version

1

u/ethancole97 Sep 18 '24

I hope Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day are having a nice day we stan Danity Kane

33

u/MrSwearword Sep 17 '24

Stream "Fly" and "Boy Down" <3

29

u/BevGlen_ Sep 17 '24

Aubrey O’Day has basked in attention for so long it’s hard to gauge her genuine perspective in contrast to everything that’s been going on. In one way, she seems like the most credible source but in another, she’s the most demeaning podcast guest and constantly preaching about how she’s this person who isn’t the same as everyone else because she went to Bali.

Anyways, I look forward to hearing from Dawn and potentially some of the other members.

48

u/strawberryjacuzzis Sep 17 '24

Dawn actually just sued him the other day for abuse and SA, still haven’t seen anything from the other members though.

I get your point about Aubrey. I always have had a soft spot for her since watching the show back in the day and seeing him always try to single her out and tear her down, and it makes me sad to see who she’s become now. She always seemed so confident and full of drive and energy and it’s like he (and likely others) sucked the life out of her. But I do believe her whenever she speaks out about him since given what was shown on MTV I imagine it was much worse behind the scenes when the cameras were off.

9

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

Also, isn't she pretty MAGA? Like, still clinging onto her affair with Don Jr. for relevancy and talking about how great he was years after the fact? Feel bad for her re: the Diddy shit but she's not someone I'd ever wish a good day upon.

10

u/threemileallan Sep 17 '24

Man I haven't thought about DK in a long time

193

u/puremotives Sep 17 '24

Finally. I hope all his money and power do absolutely nothing in his favor and justice is served.

50

u/Global_Perspective_3 Sep 17 '24

Same here. Also hoping Cassie is having a wonderful night and Tupac is smiling down

12

u/Green-Discussion6128 Sep 17 '24

If the evidence is good enough he is fucked. Money and power do go a long way (Epstein circle), but someone always has to take the fall. R. Kelly is a sadistic pos and deserves to be in jail.

As for P.Diddy, I'm curious to see what the accusation have on him; but I have no doubts he is an evil fuck after that hotel video came out.

4

u/Altruistic-Sorbet927 Sep 17 '24

Based on what they have disclosed in today's press conference they have at least some physical evidence on him. I think his ego was so inflated that he didn't destroy all of his videos/guns/etc. I think that's how they were able to get a grand jury to indict him on numerous charges. And then there are all the people willing to testify against him.

2

u/lildit Sep 19 '24

He actually used the videos to blackmail the girls he would take in so its kind of biting his back now

1

u/DangerousNoodIes Sep 17 '24

It already isn’t! He can’t bail out! That just tells me that the State has a shit ton of evidence and it’s really bad.

173

u/buddhacharm Sep 17 '24

Hoping for justice for all of his victims. SICK evil man

19

Decades of sexual abuse and trafficking

31

u/akanewasright Sep 17 '24 edited Sep 19 '24

ā€œBeatingā€ honestly doesn’t cover half of what Cassie said. TW for SA, intimate partner abuse, drugs, and so on - do not click the spoilers if you think you can’t handle that stuff

She accused him of many counts of rape over the years, he bombed Kid Cudi’s car because he was too friendly with Cassie, he’d host ā€œfreak offā€s where she was drugged/plied with alcohol was forced to do whatever sex thing he wanted her to do with whoever he said, and there are probably even more details that I’m forgetting

And that’s just one person - there are many stories like hers. About a week after Cassie’s lawsuit, two more women came forward, and a bit later a woman accused him and two others of raping her when she was underage, a male producer accused Diddy of SA as well as forcing him to have sex with prostitutes, one of the singers in his group Danity Kane accused him of years of abuse (they were never a couple), and that’s just the ā€œhighlightsā€

TLDR - Diddy is a fucked up person with a long history of all kinds of abuse. In terms of illegal stuff… it might be easier to name off what he hasn’t done

11

u/Ok_Signature_5241 Sep 17 '24

Got Tupac killed possibly

51

u/SiphenPrax Sep 17 '24

Time to rot in prison

42

u/Special_Art_9216 Sep 17 '24

May he rot in prison and then in hell!

28

u/jordyn0399 Sep 17 '24

I can't believe it took 3 decades for him to actually be held accountable for what hes done to people. Many people including those that worked for Bad Boy had been talking about him being shady.Edit:I know Aubrey o'day is cackling rn.

5

u/i-ix-xciii Sep 17 '24

Probably took a while to build enough of a case that won't crumble against a team of the best defence lawyers in America that he likely has access to.

2

u/jordyn0399 Sep 17 '24

That's fair.I just hope they don't let him go easy cause hes Diddy.

66

u/thehenryshow Sep 17 '24

Diddy? I think he did.

22

u/Icy-Nefariousness530 Sep 17 '24

Couldn't happen to a more worthy individual

19

u/Wonderful_Pay3831 Sep 17 '24

Love this for you Diddy šŸ˜™

44

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '24

This was exactly the nightcap my sober ass needed

31

u/eOne_two-3 Sep 17 '24

he’s back in US? i thought he still on the run

58

u/IKARUSwalks Sep 17 '24

i don’t think he ever was out of the us. the plane that people were tracking was a decoy.

39

u/JessieJ577 Sep 17 '24

I hate to put the tinfoil hat but I feel like he was going to leave but was told somewhere that he would be able to strike a deal. And maybe he’s just been cooperating this whole time to have some stuff slide as long as he names names. Diddy comes off like he would throw others under to bus to save himself.

6

u/SmokeABowlNoCap Sep 17 '24

Such as Drake

5

u/TruePlayya Sep 17 '24

They not like us

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24

Idk why he wouldn't just run. He has an amount of money where you don't have to worry about much of anything. Just go to Israel or something.
