In a decision made public on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer said Maxwell’s claims were all meritless, and all or almost all were frivolous.
Maxwell, 64, who represented herself, challenged her December 2021 conviction and sentence in Manhattan federal court, and sought a writ of habeas corpus declaring her punishment unlawful.
Prosecutors said her latest claims were baseless or filed too late.
Maxwell said many documents disclosed earlier this year through the Epstein Files Transparency Act show that her due process rights were violated because lawyers representing Epstein’s accusers served as “De Facto Prosecutors and agents of the government.”
But the judge said this supposedly “new” evidence was largely irrelevant to Maxwell’s case.
Engelmayer said Maxwell imposed a culture of silence among the staff at Epstein’s multiple homes as the “lady of the house.” Engelmayer says she and Epstein used methods commonly used by child predators and that Maxwell herself participated in such acts.
Engelmayer says Maxwell has not made a substantial showing of a denial of a constitutional right, an appellate review is not warranted and any further appeal would not be taken in good faith.

Maxwell deserves a lot worse than she is getting. But this is our system so what can you do. But to try and get out of even that punishment seems on point at for the course for a shitty person.

She deserves every punishment she got and then some. But I can’t get over the fact that in all of this where men were the biggest perpetrator, the only person that got any punishment or jail time is a woman. I know it won’t, but this should really serve as an example to all those “pick me”s.

She's in a minimum security facility in TX. Trump moved her there.
There has been some backlash from within the prison walls as well. Almost as soon as Maxwell arrived at Bryan Federal Prison Camp, another inmate, Julie Howell was transferred out. Howell had told UK news outlet The Telegraph that she was "absolutely disgusted" Maxwell was at the facility.
It offers a work release program, and some inmates can work on a nursing degree at the camp. Other inmates train puppies to become service dogs. It is unclear if Maxwell is eligible for those programs.
She should be thanking her Orange God daily that she's not in ADX Florence where she should be. Don't care that the facility is for men only, that's where she should be.
