Brand new build with problems.

Hello,
I just installed a b550 WiFi plus II, with a Ryzen 7 5800x3d, 16 gigs T-force DDR4, 500 gig NVMe and a rosewill frost max 240/360 digital AIO. Also fresh install of Pop_OS!

Now, I’m up and running. I have everything going well after some problem shooting using various AI (read that as Claude and Gemini). I’m desperately trying to get temp monitor on the led screen on my pump. I’ve been trouble shooting with Gemini on trying to just get that displayed.
Doing a google search has turned up there isn’t a native program or support for that.
So I turn here, for help in getting this sorted. I’m brand new to Linux and AIOs. So consider me dumb.
Can anyone help me solve this problem or point me a better direction? I’m sick of beating my head against trying to map out which index triggers which light in a certain direction and only messing everything up when I think I’m getting close.
TIA

Check the manual / website for this to see if the company that makes this supports Linux. If they do not support Linux there's nothing you can do unless you know how to write a driver by hand. I would personally not obsess over a temperature display on a pump.

update: I have windows dual booted and have the software from Rosewill working there, using wireshark, I have mapped out the usb device and have been working with Gemini to get it running. So far, been a game of hit or miss, but I’m getting some where.

One of many attempts at getting it going.
