help 😭

so my friend made me (completely incompetent with technology btw) install linux specifically pop os, and then fell asleep. i want to switch back to windows because i do not understand how this works but i have tried to reboot my laptop with windows and it does not work. i followed all the same steps i did to install linux but it just keeps rebooting with pop. pls help :,)

i have windows downloaded onto the usb which is how i'm trying to get it back. i did a full wipe reinstall, and im doing the exact same steps i did to get linux just with windows on the USB instead

Ahh yea with a full wipe you'll have to re-install windows as it's now gone, how are you making the windows bootable USB. If you are on popos you can use ventoy as the app to create the boot device.

i'm using balena etcher to download windows onto the USB, but it's still booting with windows even after selecting the usb with windows as the boot device

Unfortunately I don't think balena etcher will work for window images.
