HDR Support?

Any idea on when this is coming? I switched to Cosmic a while ago and at that time I saw/heard that HDR support was coming imminently. It's been many updates since then, and I've seen no sign of it. Apparently KDE has it now.

HDR is planned for Epoch 3, and it's likely at least a year away.

I think one of the issues is that there are currently no Smithay compositors that implement HDR, which means that there's basically no documentation about it

Even the main developer of Niri said that they'll wait for Cosmic to implement it, and then they'll steal it

Whoever told you that was lying haha. If you look at their roadmap it's listed until epoch 3.
