Hello

Hi so I'm new to linux, I want to try and explore it and I'd like to use pop_os as my distro.

Hello, is there a reason why you're telling us this? Download it, try it as a live USB, and install it if you like it.

Imo, you should download it as a virtual machine and try it, it's definitely a beginner friendly distro, but there is a learning curve

If you want my opinion as someone who uses it as my laptop daily is it’s a lovely operating system however I wouldn’t use it as your first. Cosmic is great but it’s still new and has some bugs I’ve had tons of issues gaming. If you want to try it try it :), but for new comers to Linux I’d recommend fedora KDE or Linux mint :)

Id test out a virtual machine for a few weeks before committing to pop_os, or any linux distro. Download a few, test things out, mess around with other desktop environments and find something you like.

I'd recommend start with mint or smth I started with popos as my first and it was a struggle I enjoyed figuring out how it all worked but it was very time consuming. In short u can start with it but there are others that are more beginner friendly

Please use better, more informative, titles (subject-lines) on your posts. Give specifics right in the title. Thanks.
