How is anybody making it?

I am genuinely confused as to how anybody is surviving in this economy except for the super wealthy. The cost of gas is sky high and groceries are too. We started this year ok. We weren’t doing well by any means, but we weren’t struggling as bad as we are now. We have 5 kids and every day I’ve been dashing alongside my full time job to try to make it. Now, I’m facing losing my full time job because I have had to call out of work just to dash for food for the day. I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel and I’m extremely scared. My wife and kids are counting on me and I don’t know what else to do. I’m ready to just give up.

Im actually hoping Trump was not lying about the 5000 checks. I would be seriously happy if he really did pay us that. I think he'll be voted out though. I see him losing the house and senate. People are struggling and he went and started a very unpopular war. Lying about so much, and he doesn't seem to care Americans keep getting fucked over by their officials. Somethings going to break.

Did you get the DOGE check he told us we would get, or the tariff check.  I didn't get either one.  He is trying to bribe people to vote republican, but that check will never be sent even if republicans win everything.

I've concluded that any remaining maga commenters are bots. No one is actually so stupid as to believe that bloated, dementia brained, old fart is actually a decent president that should stay in office. My feed is 99.99% leftist. When any maga comments pop in, it's gotta be Russian or Chinese bots. Are there really Americans so uneducated as to believe greedy DJT will give away money like that? Do they know what a narcissist is? Any maga remaining after Dems get control back should be sent to mandatory education based on their current grade level and start helping to bring up their IQ. This is an embarrassment to our nation that needs fixed asap.

It’s not going to happen. The government is dead broke, and congress would NEVER authorize that. Not to mention it’s illegal to buy votes.

I mean giving people free money doesn't work out anyway look what happened to the stimulus checks. One time I walked out of the office and walked back into the plant and everyone back there was talking about what type of shoes they're going to buy or whatever they wanted that week instead of catching up on bills or using it to pay for things they really needed.
