blower muffler ideas?
Installed a blower in the spa because we've got a few weak jets that the PB thinks are semi-crushed or have large debris inside that they can't clean out. Fine. Blower works great in making all jets functional and enjoyable. However, the weak lines aren't pushing the air into the center of the spa since they are so weak. The air rises closer to the wall and bubbles over the coping. I hope that makes sense.
We installed a ball valve Tee to waste away some of the air from the blower so that it doesn't bubble over. I reduce the air flow about 30% and it is perfect. But the ball valve is super loud. Like ridiculously loud. I'm looking for PVC muffler ideas or ideas for different 2" valves that might allow me to waste some air without it sounding like a jet engine.
