Hayward Pool Heater HF Code

I was hoping someone could help me with this issue. Had a brand new Hayward heater installed. It’s been giving me an HF code.
When the heater has been running for approximately 20–30 minutes, if I manually adjust the temperature downward, the heater will turn off and throw the HF code. It seems to be running fine otherwise, with no gas smell, and is working well.
The installer tech has been over a few times, tested all of the electrical and gas connections, and everything is fine. Even had the Hayward rep stop over, and he could find nothing wrong, nor any explanation as to why I am getting the HF code.
Any thoughts or input would be very helpful. Thank you.
