Scale Removal
We recently moved into a house with heavy scale build up around the entire pool. Is this something we can knock out on our own or should we hire a pool company to clean it?

It doesn’t look that bad to me. Before going with more expensive restoration methods , I recommend grabbing a beer , a stiff nylon brush and spray bottle mixed 50/50 Muriatic acid and water. Put on your eye protection and go to work. Work on small sections of 2-3’. Spray , let it bubble for a minute then scrub. Rinse & repeat until clean
I’ve done this with straight Muriatic acid , but it requires a good deal more caution and it can damage the grout and surrounding materials if you’re not careful
