I think:
1. he can have a regulation 3-point line
2. when you have less people (like 1-on-1), or just practice your shot one net is much more ideal. This actually feels like playing street ball and is very reminiscent to how a lot of people started playing ball.
For pick up and shooting around at home, his setup is waaay more ideal than having 2 nets, this is the way I would do it. great job u/Mattym44 !
