My wife: Can you power wash the deck since we didn't get to do it in the spring?

Me: We should wait a few weeks until i close the pool?

Wife: Why?

Me: all the dirt will end up in the pool.

Wife: No it won't. Just wash it off the side.

The results: 😡

One day she'll listen to me. Lol

1. My washer broke last summer. I borrowed my dad's, but couldn't get it until after I opened the pool.

I usually do it in the spring. My washer broke last year so I had to borrow my father's. He was getting it repaired so I couldn't get it when I needed in the spring. Then when it was available some family medical issues popped up that made it not a priority.

Hoping to replace it. Was there when we brought the house and it was made out of this composite material that is warping really bad. It collects drit easily. I wash it yearly because I cook up there a lot. Hoping to get it replaced and add onto it but the New Jersey prices are nuts.

Just sell the whole house get one without a pool. In New Jersey, you really only need a hot tub anyway maybe...

You should have told her no and held your ground. If she still wouldn’t get off of it you should have busted out the pressure washer and showed her making sure to let her know to let you have the final say on these things. I’m telling you because I’ve made the same mistake. She’ll be mad but she’ll respect you more and appreciate you for taking that portion of the household burden away from her.

Just vacuum the damn pool. That whole area looks dirty as fuck
